GATE 2026 के लिए कौन Apply कर सकता है

Current B.Tech/BE Final Year Student

अगर आप 2025 में 12th pass किया है और 2026 में graduation होने वाला है, तो आप eligible हो।

B.Tech/BE Graduates (Max 5 Years)

अगर आप 2020 या उससे बाद में graduate हुए हो, तो आप eligible हो।

Diploma Holders

Polytechnic students भी GATE के लिए eligible हैं।

Non-Engineering Background

अगर आप science graduate हो और proper subjects लिए हो, तो आप कुछ specific papers के लिए eligible हो।

PSU में सीधी नौकरी

50+ PSUs GATE score के आधार पर recruitment करती हैं। यह सबसे बड़ा opportunity है।

NIT colleges में AIR 2000-5000 के लिए admission मिल जाता है।

IISc Bangalore में AIR 1-100 के लिए highly competitive seats होती हैं।

Research Fellowship

M.Tech के 2 साल में monthly stipend मिलता है। यह 12,400 रुपये per month होता है। Plus hostel और mess fees covered होते हैं।

यह scholarship के साथ आप research भी कर सकते हो। और future में PhD भी pursue कर सकते हो।

Government Research Organizations में Job

CSIR, DRDO, HAL जैसे organizations में senior positions मिलते हैं।

GATE score के साथ ये organizations में recruitment होती है।

Foreign Universities में PhD

GATE 2026 Exam Pattern को समझो

Paper Structure

Total 65 questions होते हैं।

Total marks 100 होते हैं।

Time duration 3 hours होता है।

Question Types

MCQ (1 Mark): 20-25 questions में सिर्फ एक ही option सही होता है।

MCQ (2 Marks): 20-25 questions में 2 marks के साथ negative marking भी होती है।

Multiple Select Questions (2 Marks): 8-12 questions में 1 या उससे ज्यादा option सही हो सकता है। इसमें कोई negative नहीं होता।

Numerical Answer Type (1-2 Marks): 10-15 questions में direct numerical answer भरना होता है। यहां भी negative नहीं है।

Strategic Point: आपको सभी 65 questions करने की जरूरत नहीं है। सिर्फ 50-55 best questions करके आप 90+ percentile ला सकते हो।

• Month 1-2: Basics और Concepts
• पहले हर subject के fundamentals को clear करो। YouTube channels (Physics Wallah, GATE Academy) से concepts समझो।
• Short notes बनाते रहो।
• किसी भी difficult topic को skip न करो।
• Month 3-4: Deep Dive in High Weightage Topics
• अब core subject के high weightage topics पर focus करो।
• हर topic को 2-3 बार पढ़ो।
• Practice problems solve करना शुरू करो।
• Engineering Maths भी parallel में करते रहो।

Q5: GATE score कितने साल valid है?

A: 3 साल valid है। यानी अगर 2026 में दो, तो 2028 तक M.Tech admission के लिए use कर सकते हो।

Q6: क्या multiple attempts दे सकते हैं?

A: हाँ, आप 3 consecutive years में GATE दे सकते हो। लेकिन आपके best score को consider किया जाता है।

Q7: क्या calculator allowed है exam में?

A: नहीं। Computer-based test में सिर्फ virtual keypad दिया जाता है।

Q8: क्या Negative marking Multiple Select में भी है?
